Jerry T. Davis, D.O. is a Family Practice Physician in Lake Worth, Texas. In 1983, Jerry started Lake Worth Minor Emergency center, and he has continued his medical practice since that time. Jerry’s main interests in medicine are Family Practice emergency Care and Allergic Diseases. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
A native Texan, jerry was born in Lubbock, and lived in various cities in Texas. He graduated from Denton High School in 1970. he attended the University of North Texas, graduating with a degree in Biology in 1974. He attended Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Forth Worth, and completed his residency training at Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas.
Jerry accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at age 14 at church camp in Falls Creek, Okalahoma, and currently attends Lakeview Fellowship Church in Fort Worth. Jerry has participated in several Medical Mission trips around the world, including trips to Vietnam, Nepal, Peru, Afghanistan, Korea and Mexico. In 2005 and 2006 Jerry assisted the Christian Medical and Dental society in facilitating a mission trip to Puebla, Mexico. Both times, over forty students were able to participate and care for over 1500 people.
Jerry’s hobbies and activities include motorcycle riding, snow skiing, scuba diving, photography, boating, fishing and gardening. He has been married to his wife Melissa for 26 years. They have three sons, Caleb 24, Joshua 22, and Jacob age 20. Caleb and Joshua both graduated Texas A&M University and are pursuing careers and graduate degrees. Jacob is a Junior at Texas A&M.
