Rupert enjoyed some southern California sunshine over the Veterans Day weekend. Rick Bergquist's church, Life Church Whittier (AG) Don Sanderson, Pastor (USMC) invited Rupert to give the Sunday morning message. Monday a trip to Knott's Berry Farm theme park, provided some diversion and a couple of opportunities to minister. Monday evening Rupert and Rick attended a local Veterans Observance complete with orchastra. Veterans Day Rupert was the keynote speaker at the local VFW Veterans Day Ceremony on the steps of city hall. Later that afternoon, Rupert visited an old friend, Pastor Randy Collins at The Rock church in Anaheim.

Dressed in his Vietnam era Class B Kakhi uniform, he provided an opportunity for vets to relate to the era and for the public to appreciate the honorable appearance of the US Paratrooper during the Viet Nam war.
Over 125 citizens were in attendance.

It didn't take long for two Ghostriders to locate the local supply depot. While we found a lot of merchandise bearing the Ghostrider name, (the name given to the theme park's famous wood stilt roller coaster. The local supply clerk gladly took a photo of some authentic "Ghostrider Goods".
